The way it works today
An inspector carries a rolled drawing, a phone and a notebook. Findings get circled in pen, photographed separately, and written down a third time. Then the evening starts: forty photos that all look alike and one person trying to remember which wall was item fourteen. Every observation is written twice, once on site and once in the register. And if the printed drawing was last month revision, some of that work was wrong before it began.
Three records that do not talk to each other, reconciled from memory after dark.
Tap the location on the drawing. The camera opens. The photo binds to that exact point on that exact sheet, permanently. Classify it, set the severity, and it is numbered on the drawing in colour. The link is never broken because it was never separated.
When the walk ends, the report already exists.

Not just condition surveys
The taxonomy is one editable file, so the same tool covers any inspection where findings are located on a drawing. Rename defect to observation, NCR or snag and the workflow is identical. Categories, types, severities, trades and statuses are all yours to define.

On the drawing. Photo pin, rectangle, ellipse, revision cloud, polygon, freehand, arrow, callout, text. All movable, resizable and recolourable. Sheets rotate, rename and reorder, and two open side by side.
In 3D. IFC and other models load directly. Section planes, isolate, hide, measure, wireframe. Pins drop onto the model surface.
Classification. Thirteen categories, 116 types, four severity levels, plus trade, status, due date and required action.
Outputs. A marked up drawing set with numbered stamps and a page per finding, and an Excel register with the photos embedded in the rows. A single sheet can be shared straight from site.
Report tab. Counts, charts and written insights before you export, flagging critical items, findings without photographs and anything unclassified.
AI drafting. Tap the star and the photo is analysed into a description and a recommended action. The inspector stays the author: drafted text is flagged until reviewed, and unreviewed text is highlighted in the export.

Where it currently stands
A working prototype in trial, not a finished product. It has not yet been run end to end by an inspector other than us, large drawing sets are untested, and the AI runs on a free tier whose terms are not cleared for client photographs.
